Chapters are the beating heart of EWB. Across Canada chapter members are taking thoughtful and strategic actions to create profound social change in their universities, companies, and communities.

EWB Ucalgary is a student organization at the University of Calgary. We are a vibrant community of students, professionals, and fellows, with a unique approach to global development – addressing root causes to create lasting change. The Ucalgary chapter is one of 39 across Canada working together to eradicate systemic poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.

At EWB Ucalgary, we have six ventures: Evolving Engineering, Finance and Fundraising, Fair Trade, Member Learning, Advocacy, and Communications.

Here at the Ucalgary Chapter, we encourage our peers and colleagues to be mindful of their impacts on the world and make choices that better promote and contribute to human development. We associate our advocacy with the UN's 17 sustainability goals that contribute to the future success of our world and planet.
